Meet Dawn Salina

Holistic Health Practitioner and Functional health rn

Dawn is a registered nurse and a Nutrition Response Testing practitioner. She is also a Reiki I and II practitioner and an IntuArtive Facilitator which is a technique that uses painting to release trapped subconscious emotions and beliefs from the body . She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Massachusetts and her Master of Arts in Integrative Health and Wellness from the Graduate Institute where she studied alternative health and wellness modalities, whole food nutrition and the mind body connection. She did her Nutrition Response training at The Ulan Nutritional Systems where she received her Advanced Clinical Training and Nutrition coaching certificate. Dawn is also currently completing Functional Lab Training through Restorative Wellness Solutions (RWS) to deepen her understanding of root-cause healing through lab-based assessments.

From Frontline Nursing to Holistic Healing

Dawn has worked as a nurse at Tufts Medical Center for over 35 years with certifications in Neonatal and Vascular Access nursing. She also worked as a Front-line nurse during the Covid pandemic and became acutely aware of the current health care systems inadequacies. With the help of her mentor Dr. Anthony Lebro, a chiropractor, and medical intuative she decided to transition from traditional bedside nursing into Nutrition Response testing where she believed she would be more effective in helping people heal and attain wellness through nonpharmaceutical means. She is passionate about educating and empowering people on their journey to wellness with alternative and natural ways of healing.

Dawn started her journey to wellness with NRT over seven years ago. During her personal journey, she struggled for years with chronic fatigue, insomnia, brain fog and many chronic immune and digestive challenges. She experienced several years of infertility and eventually became pregnant with triplets who are now 28 years old. She also believes that had she discovered NRT earlier in life she may have found a more natural way to deal with infertility. She spends her free time staying up today with advances in holistic health and enjoys spending time with her partner Mark and her rottweilers Juju and Quilla.
